11. No Words Can Say
The fluid movement of this piece reflects its creation in one uninterrupted session. Interestingly, the lead vocal and guitar track were also recorded in a single take. The song distills the seeker’s yearning into a single request, “Will you be my loving Master?” Margo’s lovely harmonizing makes an uplifting appearance in the chorus.

No Words Can Say
Words and music by Darryl Smith
G C
1. No words can say, though we have tried, such feelings sublime, so deep inside
G D
Are hidden there, / though cannot be denied to You.
G C
We’ve ↑heard that ↓love burns ↑deep this way, We’re often left, with ↓naught to say
G D
but only ↑hope to / continue to pray to please You.
Refrain
Em
↓This is all, we want to ↑ask
C
↓Will You be, our loving ↑Master?
G D
↓Guide us through, forever ↑after, always with You?
Em C G D
With You, With You, With You, Meher Baba
Em C G D
Meher, Meher Baba, Meher, Meher Baba
G C
2. Help us love You more and more → and hold Your daaman, / to be sure
G D
to hold You closer, is what we are living for.
G C
Closer closer! Our only plea, forever in Your Nazar please see us,
G D
Beloved, Let us always be near to You! → Refrain
G C
3. And when it’s all been said and done and our whole journey / is fully run
G D
Then will we know: → “You and I are one,” is really true.
G C
Till then we’ll offer You our hearts and promise / to do our parts
G D
To see You / as You really are → What more can we do? → Refrain
